Before & After School Care

We know school schedules need to work for families.

Prelude Prep offers before and after school care to support families who need an earlier drop-off, a later pick-up, or a little extra flexibility during the week. Our program provides a safe, supervised, and caring environment for students outside of regular school hours.

Schedule & Hours

Before School Care
Before school care is available starting at 6:15 am and continues until the start of the school day. Morning care offers a calm, supervised start to the day.

After School Care
After school care is available at the end of the school day until 6:00 pm. Students have time to unwind, participate in structured activities, and complete homework as appropriate.

Wednesdays (Early Release)
Students are released every Wednesday at 12:00 pm for staff professional development.
Free care is available from 12:00–3:45 pm for families who need it.
After school care is available from 3:45–6:00 pm.

Fees & Affordability

We work hard to keep before and after school care as affordable and flexible as possible for families.

Families may choose the option that best fits their needs:

Monthly Enrollment Option
Families may enroll in morning care, after school care, or both for a monthly rate. Monthly costs vary because families are only charged for the days school is in session. You are not charged for days when school is closed.

Daily Drop-In Option
For families who need occasional care, we also offer a daily drop-in option for $10 per child per day.

Our goal is to support working families while keeping extended care costs reasonable and transparent.

Community Partnerships

Prelude Prep values our local community and the families who work nearby.

Through community partnerships, families who work on Centennial—including employees of Steves Door and SAS Shoes—receive free before school care as part of our commitment to supporting working families in our neighborhood.
